Organize: 3 Simple Ways!
Step 1: Reduce
Organize issue? The first step starts with reducing. Not sure what that means? Start by picking one room or even better one drawer. Hence, by removing all the items that are no longer needed, you are able to focus on the items you use.
If you no longer need it, let the item be a blessing to someone that could really use it. Consequently, you will get rid of the clutter, they will be happy to get something they need, and the item will be useful again.
In addition, if it is more time you need. Look at your current schedule. Life is about choices. What activities or obligations do you need to reduce? Because saying yes to one thing, means you need to say no to something else. If you spend all your time running, look at what you can reduce on your calendar.
Step 2: START SLOW
This second step is making sure you don’t bite off more than you can chew. Most people try to change everything at once. And often fail. Pick one behavior or system to focus on first. If you can never find your car keys. Start putting them in the same place every time. Once you master this small task, move on to something bigger. Learning to be organized is a process. Organization does not happen overnight or in one day.
Step 3: No Excuses
Most of all, get past the excuses. The last step is making sure excuses are not getting in your way. Who says organizing has to be expensive? Look at this great idea! Be creative when coming up with solutions to be more organized. Great organizing systems allow you to identify what you need, find things faster, and makes it easier to put away. If you are making excuses about why you can’t get organized, overcome those challenges with a creative solution!
